Future of AoV reporting

Recently updated

This panel discussion will explore the future of Assessment of Value (AoV) reporting in light of the FCA’s recent announcements. As regulatory requirements evolve, this session will examine how firms are responding—whether by scaling back, maintaining, or enhancing their AoV processes—and what this means for governance, transparency, and investor outcomes.

More details

Join us for a timely panel discussion exploring the future of Assessment of Value (AoV) reporting in light of the FCA’s recent announcements and the latest Fund Boards Council (FBC) memo. As regulatory requirements evolve, this session will examine how firms are responding—whether by scaling back, maintaining, or enhancing their AoV processes—and what this means for governance, transparency, and investor outcomes.

We will also spotlight FBC’s new AoV benchmarking initiative and consider the broader European regulatory landscape, including potential developments from ESMA on costs and charges.

Hear from industry experts and practitioners who have implemented AoV across both UK and European fund ranges, and join the debate on best practices and future directions.

Key themes:

  • Practical implications of the FCA’s changes to AoV reporting
  • Approaches to AoV: minimum compliance vs. value-add
  • Insights from FBC’s AoV benchmarking work
  • European perspectives: ESMA regulation and cross-border consistency
  • Open Q&A and panel discussion

This event is essential for anyone involved in fund governance, product oversight, or regulatory compliance.

Don’t miss the opportunity to engage with peers and shape the conversation on the next chapter of AoV.
