We’re pleased to share our latest memo summarising the FBC CEO Roundtable held on 25 September 2025.
At the event, senior leaders from across the asset management sector joined Aidan McEvoy, Head of Asset Management & Funds Supervision at the FCA, for a frank conversation on operational resilience and risk management. This included:
- The discussion, moderated by FBC Senior Adviser Brandon Horwitz, sparked debate on where boards must raise their game: ensuring proportionate oversight, strengthening crisis response, and upskilling for emerging risks.
- Aidan shared insights from supervisory work and the FCA’s broader strategic priorities, from enabling UK growth while safeguarding investors, to managing systemic outsourcing dependencies and preparing for an AI-driven future.
- Brandon shared findings from recent FBC research on operational resilience.
We would like to thank all participants, Aidan, Brandon, and our host Nigel Smith of Ninety One, for their contributions.
