The Fund Boards’ Council is a membership organisation for directors of mutual fund boards which aims to be the most authoritative source of insight, thought-leadership and engagement on fund board governance topics across Europe.
We are passionate advocates for good fund board governance – promoting examples of excellence from the UK asset management industry where we find them, offering guidance and consultancy to firms who need our help and backing the industry-wide push for greater diversity on fund boards by encouraging and supporting aspiring and incumbent iNEDs as they find and establish themselves in this important board role.
We work closely with fund board chairs and board directors – both independent and non-independent – to help them navigate governance challenges and opportunities, providing access to insight, expertise and best practice from industry specialists from the UK and overseas.
Individual membership is open to any aspiring iNEDs looking for a fund board role. Joining the Fund Boards Council as an individual member gives you access to a wealth of events, online services and networking opportunities. We are also exploring the option of a jobs board/matching service for our members, and we hope to have more news on that in the next few weeks.
Join today and find out how we can help you achieve your boardroom potential.
Membership fee – £500/per annum (exc. VAT)
Once you become an iNED, our support continues through either:
- Incumbent iNED membership – for individuals whose fund boards are not yet Corporate members (payable individually but which may be chargeable to your fund board). To find out more about Incumbent iNED membership, click here: Corporate iNEDs – Membership Information
- Corporate Membership – if the board you have joined is already a member. You’ll still receive dedicated materials, invitations to events for iNEDs as part of the wider Corporate Membership. To find out more about Corporate membership, click here: Corporate Members – Membership Information.
