Join us for Fund Board Council’s 2nd annual iNED Boot Camp on 23rd January 2020 – a must-attend event for iNEDs currently sitting on a fund board and those who aspire to do so.
In this afternoon session, we’ll hear from leading fund board chairs on their experience of working with independent directors and the opportunities that greater independence on fund boards brings.
Then it’s the turn of the iNEDs themselves as 3 experienced independent directors take to the stage to share their experiences as an independent voice on their fund board.
Next up, we’ll examine in detail the responsibilities and liabilities that iNEDs face and discuss how iNEDs can effectively keep track of and address the ongoing requirements of the role.
In the final session of the afternoon, we convene an expert panel of board directors from across financial services to compare and contrast experiences from workplace pensions, master trusts, fund boards and investment trusts. We ask what fund boards can learn from the governance experience of those in other areas of financial services and examine opportunities to tap into this combined expertise on an ongoing basis.
Finally, you are warmly invited to join us for networking drinks immediately after the Boot Camp.
