Simon has over forty years’ of experience in asset management and general financial services in the UK, having worked at leading firms including HSBC, Legal and General, Fidelity International, Axa IM and Henderson Global Investors. He has had a distinguished career as a CEO/Senior Executive in these organisations, with a particular focus on leading transformative change and supporting global growth strategies. He is well-recognised as a public presenter and industry commentator, and has spoken at many major conferences. Simon has been heavily involved with The Investment Association, including having been a main Board Director and member of several committees. 

Simon is now managing a diverse portfolio career including as an ‘asset owner’ as Chair of Lifesight Ltd., and providing expertise in governance and oversight as NED and Independent Chair of both Morgan Stanley Investment Management Ltd (UK ACD)  and GAM Sterling Management Ltd (UK ACD,) as well as being an NED of privately-owned Marlborough Investment Management Ltd.
