Six months on: What We’ve Learnt From AoV Reporting So Far
Thurs 18th June at 2pm
In this digital meeting, we’ll be outlining FBC’s detailed analysis of early Assessment of Value (AoV) reports, examining the emerging best practice and discussing the direction AoV reporting is taking with leading fund governance professionals.
FBC has conducted a comprehensive analysis of more than 25 Assessment of Value reports that were released from the start of January to the end of April 2020, covering more than 500 mutual funds currently authorised in the UK. In this meeting, we will share the key findings of this analysis with a particular emphasis on board visibility and accountability, ease of access, the AoV analysis itself and how the firms have set out any actions or remedies being taken.
We’ll discuss these findings with leading fund governance professionals and board directors from FBC Corporate Member firms – two of whom have published their reports already and two are due to publish later this year – and examine the implications of FBC’s analysis, both for those firms still to report and for those looking ahead to next year’s reporting process.
Joining us on the panel will be:
Philip Wagstaff, Global Head of Distribution and chair of the fund board at Jupiter
Anna O’Donoghue, Head of Product Governance at Schroders
Carole Judd, Independent Director on the fund board at BNY Mellon
Richard Vincent, Head of Product and Solutions, EMEA at Columbia Threadneedle
