Report shines a light on the underlying composition of UK funds’ costs and fees
The need to start producing detailed and meaningful AoV reports is topping the agenda in many UK mutual fund boardrooms. With this in mind, we were delighted to welcome over 80 senior leaders from UK mutual funds to The Senior Managers’ Roundtable on 28thMarch.
The event was a chance for those senior managers charged with overseeing the production of these statements, as well as those independent board directors who will be personably accountable for approving them, to come together to hear latest insight and research from leading experts in Assessment of Value.
To coincide with the Roundtable, UK Fund Boards has published a new report which examines the underlying composition of UK funds’ costs and fees and provides insights into the challenge of measuring and reporting value.
The report, drawing on new data produced by research firm Fitz Partners, analyses cost and fees from funds in the UK All Companies sector. It outlines how fees and costs such as Annual Management Charges, administration and custody fees impact on and account for the overall fund charges (OCF).
