UK Fund Boards recently caught up with governance expert, Philip Warland to discuss how fund board governance has changed over the years, what UK fund boards can learn from the experience of other jurisdictions who’ve been through similar changes and how asset managers can ensure that Assessment of Value (AoV) statements can help investors effectively compare between asset managers.
Philip started his career at the Bank of England before moving into the investment management industry where he’s held senior roles including Director General of the Investment Management Association and Head of Public Policy at Fidelity International. He is senior advisor to the Investment Association, to Kreab in Brussels and a Trustee of the Oasis Charitable Trust.
